Love Them Anyway: Who Are You?

When you’re disappointed by someone’s actions or words, love them anyway.

When you’re betrayed by someone who was close to you, love them anyway.

When you don’t want to go to church anymore due to not being helped but instead getting hurt, love them anyway.

When you find a knife in your back while your eyes are focused on a smile, love them anyway.

When you thought they were coming by to see you, but they were really just coming by to see you! Love them anyway.

No matter how many times you're offended, forgive them and love them anyway, even if it's from a distance.

When you see they're just using you, remove yourself. But forgive them and love them anyway.

When you want to embrace friendship but you discern jealousy, love them anyway.

When you want to laugh at the ignorance of others but anger is bidding for revenge, love them anyway.

When you do all you can and it seems you want to give up, hold on to your faith in God and worship Him for who He is and what He’s already done. Know that the reason we have to love them anyway is because we are also sinful and fall short of God's glory, and He LOVES US ALL ANYWAY!

Meditation: Jesus knew who Judas was and what he was going to do, yet He loved him anyway. That’s how I want to love.
