I believe in HIM and on HIM because I place all my confidence in HIM and not myself.

HE made me! I didn’t make myself!

I went to the military through HIM. I am by myself, but I’m not alone because I am living right now through Him. He gave me the hope I needed to believe He exists. Seeking Him diligently is a required action after believing He exists. That’s where the relationship takes off.

I thank God that while I consider my own moment of misery, He’s moving on my behalf.

When I’m trying to figure out my situation, He’s already worked out my situation.

When it looks like trouble is lasting much longer than I expected. He shows up suddenly and then I better understand; trouble doesn’t last always.

Weeping when my soul is happy because the joy I have, the Lord gave it to me. The peace the Lord gave to me, I have right now.

It’s not because everything is how I think it should be, but because I know everything that is to be, is in the Lord's hands.

He’s kind to the ugly, merciful to those who lack mercy, good to those whose righteousness is but a filthy rag.

I’m grateful today because every day with the Lord I realize it’s really true what’s written in the book of Isaiah.

Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect and peace those whose mind is steadfast, because they trust in you.
