From a Broken Heart to a Blessed Hope

ree

Broken hearts can come in a myriad of ways. In early childhood development, when a child doesn’t receive the much-needed love and positivity, it can be disturbing and break the innocent heart of a little child.

From adolescence to young adulthood, growing up in an unhealthy home structure can be damaging and utterly heartbreaking.

Growing into adulthood without therapy and seeking healing for that bruising, in whatever form it came, can make one a heartbreaker because of the lack of affection received growing up.

So now you have someone who’s lacking empathy, yet wants the love they never received.

It’s disturbing. Yet everyone needs love, a healthy love. And going without can leave a person with a fractured or broken heart, surviving off of the phrase, "I’m good. I’m ok." Which is far from the truth.

Now you have someone walking around looking healthy, sounding healthy, yet emotionally unhealthy. These same individuals often refuse the help of others whom they call their friends.

Never seeking therapy, and what’s worse is when someone like this doesn’t have an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus.

Even many who have religious beliefs and practices don’t dive headfirst into the word of God that assures us of a blessed hope that is earthly encouraging and spiritually awakening, which promotes healing for the hurting, bruised, battered, scarred, marred, beaten, broken, and palpitating heart.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

This is a love hardly understood. Literally unfathomable.

Meditation: Don’t ever give up fighting to accomplish your dreams. Staying in the fight allows miracles to take place in your life! Be determined not to give up. Giving up is never an option just because it crosses your mind. Keep going!
