VETERANS MINISTRY
Transitioning through Testimony is a program that provides support and guidance to military veterans as they navigate the challenges of transitioning back to civilian life. Rooted in Biblical principles, this initiative offers a safe and welcoming space for veterans to share their experiences and find healing.
After their time serving, many veterans suffer from a lack of direction, isolation, and repressed anger. However, Transitioning through Testimony aims to help them recover, become whole, and thrive in their everyday lives.
While in the service, the mission is clear: protect American interests, deter war, and respond to threats. However, once home and without a concrete mission, some military veterans struggle with understanding their purpose and reclaiming their identity. They face an endless number of challenges, including: Adjusting to new life at home; Survivor's remorse; Reconciling and managing one's expectations and the realities of re-entry.
Adjusting to the unique culture and structure of civilian life is often accompanied by the difficulties of re-establishing a routine and social support system. 2nd Chronicles is there to act as reinforcement, provide a safe space to share those trials, and to help veterans navigate adversity. 2nd Chronicles focuses on transformation through studying the Word of God, Repentance, Prayer, Discipleship, and becoming Relational with our Creator and our fellow man.
